Gladwin County DHHS will hold their 3rd
annual 5K to Foster Run/Walk on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Each year in Michigan, over 13,000 children
enter the foster care system. Communities play an important role in
supporting all children and youth, but especially children and youth in foster
care. By becoming a foster parent, individuals and families can make a lasting
impact in a child's life. The 5K to Foster Run/Walk is a fun family event
designed to bring awareness of the need for foster homes in Gladwin County
and throughout the State of Michigan.
Individuals of all ages are invited to join us for the race on Saturday, September
16, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Late registration will begin at 8:00 AM
the morning of the race. The race starts and finishes at MidMichigan
Medical Center, 515 Quarter St., Gladwin, MI. The race runs through
beautiful trails throughout the city of Gladwin.
